My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

January 15, 2014, Piper was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. He is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison. If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Piper was surrendered to Friendship because his family was moving. This 7 year old has always been an outside dog but would love to find a family that will love him enough to bring him in. His former family didn't say much about him. Since Piper's arrival at the shelter he has been a very affectionate fellow that is happy just to have some attention paid to him. Piper has your typical silly lab personality that you will love. He will be a great catch once he returns.
