Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Whitney is yet again another example of human irresponsibility..another case of not bothering to spay/neuter.... And then when puppies come along, they're throwaways. Whitney is a very lucky pup...her exceptional temperament saved her life. Our Oklahoma rescuer was made aware of Whitney...met her and fell in love! Whitney is an adorable 10 month old Terrier/Schnauzer mix with the best personality around. His foster mom in Oklahoma had the following to say about this beautiful girl... ---Whitney is the cutest 10 month old tan terrier/schnauzer (we think). She weighs just about 20 lbs and is the perfect size for long walks (she's currently clueless about walking on a leash...it's newness scares her). She will need to be trained...shouldn't be too tough as she's a motivated learner and loves to be outside. I can't even describe how sweet and gentle Whitney is. So perfectly warm and friendly without being the least bit pushy. She is so soft and special....giving little doggie kisses and cuddling up in the gentlest way possible. Whitney is absolutely excellent with every other dog! I've had her in many different dog-friendly situations and she couldn't be more pleasant. As far as children...Whitney has been with my grandchildren and their young friends and never anything but very engaging behavior. She is totally trustworthy and loves to hang out or better yet....go to the park or a walk (to practice her skills on leash)) is always a good choice. She has been great with her housetraining...a couple of accidents but Whitney is very neat by nature and likes the spaces around her to be clean - she'd never consider destructive behavior of any kind. Whitney is also a quiet pup...barking isn't the way she expresses herself. It's more of a tail wag and a kiss for those she loves. She is initially shy with strangers but doesn't choose barking or aggression as a strategy. Whitney is a very slight shedder...with brushing/baths and great nutrition her coat should grow in shiny and healthy. Whitney isn't suggested for those with severe allergy concerns.
Whitney will be arriving on transport in Denver at point in January to February. Applications are being accepted for this exceptional family companion.
