Lizzie is a beautiful chocolate labby mix girl with a rich brown coat and a white chest. She is absolutely gorgeous. Lizzie is about 2 years old, has a stocky, muscular build weighing about 60 lbs. and has a happy bubbly personality. She came from a high-kill shelter where she ended up after being picked up as a stray. The shelter volunteers were adamant about getting her to safety and contacted Lucky Lab Rescue. That was definitely her lucky day as she has nothing but good things to look forward to now. Lizzie is a great girl and loves everyone she meets. She is great with other dogs and has a great time playing in the yard with all her canine buddies. Lizzie really likes being around people and getting good girl hugs and good girl treats. She takes the treats very nicely and wags her tail hoping for more. Lizzie has a lot of energy and loves to play. She plays with her toys, likes to chase the tennis ball and play tug o war, runs around the yard being silly and having so much fun. Lizzie has been well socialized with men, women and older children - we do not recommend a home with young children because of her energy level. If you are looking for a running partner, a hiking buddy, a companion to join your active lifestyle, then Lizzie would be the one. She does settle down nicely when she comes in and will curl up at your feet to watch a little TV. She would like nothing more than to find a family of her own to be with and to please. Obedience classes would be great for her as she is a fast learner and does so want to please her people. We are not sure about the kitties, but can cat test if needed. Lizzie has been spayed, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped She is also crate trained.
