Barney's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Barney's Story...
Barney is such a little charmer. He truly is a big dog stuck in a small dogs' body! He has lots of confidence and spunk! Barney enjoys the companionship of other dogs and simply adores all people. We feel Barney would fit in well in almost any situation. He isn't greatly fond of the crate and may fuss for a bit so apartment living may not be the best scenario for this lil guy. If you are interested in Barney visit our website to fill out an application. www.familyadditiondogrescue.org. The adoption fee for Barney is $250 which includes 2 in home training sessions with Marta Ruela with Ahead of the Pack Dog Training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Charlotte Pug/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Dachshund for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Pug/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Dachshund breeders who help with Pug/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
