Sugar's Story...
This girl is as sweet as sweet can get! Sugar is not only incredibly gorgeous, but she's a lovely, submissive creature who has no concept of "aggression". She's about 9-10 months old and weighs about 45 pounds. She's predominantly an American Staffordshire or Pit Bull Terrier, but she appears to also have some Greyhound or Whippet in her (she has long legs and a slender build). She was rescued from being put down at the city shelter where she had ended up as a stray. She's in wonderful health and would be a perfect family dog. She adores playing with toys and loves other dogs of all sizes. She's still working on her housetraining, but is catching on fast and she loves to snuggle and give kisses. This girl is just a doll! Adoption fee is $175 and she is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Brooklyn American Staffordshire Terrier/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Greyhound for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Greyhound breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
