My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sable is a very young black cat, with just a few white hairs on her chest. She has a sad tale to be told. She was owned by people who didn't spay her and when she got pregnant, just hours before her delivering her babies, she was "taken for a ride". Thankfully a very nice man found her, but he had a very aggressive dog towards cats, so he could not bring her in to his house. So, he called CATS. he also kept her in his cat, and would run the AC to keep her and her babies cool and safe. So, that's the story on how we got Sable. She is a very young girl, cats can get pregnant at 5 months old, have their babies in just 63 days, so they can be done weaning their babies, spayed and ready for placement and still be under a year old!
Sable was tested for feline aids/luke and Parvo, and she was negative for all three. She has been spayed, had all of her shots, has no fleas or worms, so she is completely vetted. Hard copy medical records will accompany her when she goes to her ForEver home, a good on this time! She is a sweet girl, very loving, likes to be petted and will sit in your lap. She so deserves a good home this time around, she already knows what it's like to be owned by an irresponsible, heartless person.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the  Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end  cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed  spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!<
