My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penelope is a very nice Tortie cat. she is great at her foster home but OMG how she hates to be in the cage at Petco on Sundays! She and scarette hide under their blankets to get away from the sounds of dogs barking, the lights, the smells it just scares them too much. At home, they are relaxed and comfortable and have no issues. But because they hide at Petco they go unnoticed so often. If you are interested in either one or both! the foster parents would welcome you to their home to visit the girls.
Each one came to us pregnant. They were tested for feline aids/luke and parvo and they were negative for all three. They've been spayed, had all of their shots and what they lack is a home to call their own. Poor darings, it breaks my heart every Sunday to see them so afraid! Please consider one or both of these moms.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the  Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end  cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed  spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!<
