HANNAH's Story...
Sweet little Hannah Banana is such a good girl! She came to the shelter as a stray on 12/26 and is busy winning hearts daily. She is a Beagle who is 3 years old and weighs just 20 lbs. She is very quiet in her cage and appears to be well trained. She will wait to see the bathroom until she is outside which leads us to believe she is housebroken. She sits when told and walks like a lady an a leash. She is current on vaccines, now spayed, heartworm tested negative and will be microchipped upon adoption. Hannah's ID # is 562569 and she can be found in cage 314 in the puppy/small dog room. Don't miss out on meeting this beautiful lady!

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This beautiful pet and many others need a forever, loving home and are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information.

Act quickly to adopt HANNAH. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HANNAH, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
