Facts about Shiloh

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Shiloh is a gem that hasn't had an easy life. He is so sweet and loving. He loves being with people and being pet and likes to be picked up. We got a call from someone who said he was a stray and was being attacked by the other cats in the neighborhood. He kept trying to get into someone's house but they wouldn't let him in :( When we went to pick him up, he had two deep puncture wounds on his back :( He was taken to the vet and they are almost both completely healed up now. He is otherwise healthy. He is vaccinated, neutered and tested negative for FIV/Felv. The vet estimated Shiloh to be about 8 years old. For more info please call 516 378 4340 or come visit him at 2 Rider Place, Freeport NY 11520. Adoption hours are 11am to 6pm

If you would like some more info, please email adopt@bobbicares.org. For an immediate response, please fill out our application from www.bobbiandthestrays.org and email it to adopt@bobbicares.org as well.

About Bobbi and the Strays

About Our Rescue Group...

Bobbi and the Strays is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt animal welfare organization, and a no-kill agency.

We rescue stray dogs and cats from harmful situations ranging from abuse and neglect to imminent euthanasia. All animals are examined and treated by a veterinarian and updated with vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and will undergo healthcare or rehabilitation as necessary. We then find permanent, loving homes for these animals who may never have known kindness. We also provide educational programs to schools and the community, educating children and adults on responsible pet ownership. We also have Spay-Neuter/Release programs, organizing monthly spay/neuter services around the community with the ASPCA van.

We have dedicated volunteers who help rescue, foster, and care for the animals, as well as helping out at adoption days.

Donations are always needed to continue our work, and we rely on the support of those who share our vision of a world where animals are treated humanely, given loving homes, and where organizations such as ours are a thing of the past. We believe in our dream.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all potential adopters to complete an adoption form. We will make arrangements to meet with you, inspect the home where the animal will live, and, once approved, you'll be able to take home your new family member. Fees will be discussed with potential adopters.

We also require that adopters keep us updated on the well being of their pets and, if for any reason they are no longer able to keep the animal, they MUST call us to return the animal to us. We will pick up if necessary.
