Simbas Dad died now his current caretaker ill
Simba in same home since pup have all his history, always loved
indoor dog
Simba is a tall handsome around 3-4 yr old happy boy, he's about 30 inches tall weighs 100 plus tall lean pounds and will fill out some more
His owner died and the family is not able to care for such a big dog so Simba is looking for a super family a matching forever home
Simbas current owner the disabled Dad of his dead son cares for Simba he loves him a lot but knows he cannot forever properly care for such a large dog
Simba has always been very loved and cared for
no trauma
in same family since he was adopted as a pup from a shelter
Simba knows some commands and listens well to quiet commands and very treat motivated
he shakes, sits, comes
He has and is living with a 20 pound male dog doing just fine with him but we prefer as only dog or another large breed friendly non alpha fem dog that has a happy personality as he does
Simba has been places and socialized when the owner was alive but he has been mainly at home for the past year
he would be a great country dog going on hikes and exploring in nature versus being in the city
though he lives in a regular neighborhood and goes for a few walks a week there
a country or outskirts of city home would suit him best
He is great with all people but always has lived in a guys household
You can see videos of him meeting my hubby for first time he gave kisses though in a setting he has never been in a bit excited and unsure (at a petsore area with tons of smells and actions along a busy loud road)
Simba is not a barker but will alert if someone comes close to door
He has never escaped the yard
We are looking for big dog experienced folks with a stable home a big fenced yard and time to spend with this big hunk
He does ok on leash with no pull harness and could use a little more training but you must be a strong handler
He will require a large car to ride in because he's so tall
I met Simba myself he's a wonderful boy that is looking for a country type home or outskirts of the city preferred
Simba lived with the same owner since he was a puppy
He has med to high energy so daily exercise a must would make a great jogging buddy too
Simba also likes the water and exploring nature
This is a wonderful boy looking for a superloving home if kids over 14 yrs best because of his size and of course well behaved respectful kids but prefer adult home that's what he's used too
a guys home would be ideal as he lived mainly with guys but has no hang ups about woman
Simba responds very well to a quiet calm voice
