Cracker Jack's Story...
Not every cage has a sad face staring back at you in an animal shelter. Meet Cracker Jack. He seems to be having a blast, regardless of where he is.

With a smile on his face, Cracker Jack looks back at you from the other end of the leash, as if to say "Come on! Let's have some fun!"

Cracker Jack is 1 1/2 - 2 years young, healthy and weighs around 55 pounds. He's neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations He's got a really handsome copper-colored coat and sparkly, pink-rimmed topaz eyes.

His enthusiastic and bubbly demeanor isn't what you'd expect from a dog rescued from death row at Fulton Co. Animal Shelter. Apparently, Cracker Jack knew a bleak ending wasn't in the cards for him. He's with us now and is accepting applications for a new best friend. Grouches need not apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cracker Jack, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier/Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Vizsla for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Vizsla dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Vizsla breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
