Leo's Story...
Hey everyone! My name is Leo and I am a 6 year old tricolor Austrailian Shepherd who loves life! I am a very happy boy who loves to go for walks and be with people! I am a little chubby right now, but the shelter staff has put me on a diet so I should be getting into tip-top shape very soon! I would probably be wonderful around kids and cats- but I haven't found many of them here at the shelter, so I'm not sure. I am good with other dogs and I would love a home where I can be inside and outside. Maybe I'm the one for you??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Chino Valley Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Chino Valley, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Chino Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chino Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chino Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chino Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
