Mickey is a high-energy, 12-pound, 18-month-old, Chihuahua/Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Mickey landed at Chicago Animal Care & Control due to no fault of his own. He was rescued by Famous Fido, and spends his days with all the other dogs at the shelter. Typical of any young dog, Mickey is looking for someone with the time and energy to train and exercise a young dog. He loves walks, but needs multiple walks a day to perfect his housebreaking. Mickey is fast! And wiggly … for this reason, he’s recommended for adults and teens who can make sure to give him the training he needs so he doesn’t dart out the door and get lost. He loves his treats and will love training classes. He dances for treats and takes them gently from your fingers. Mickey is healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, neutered and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly foster or
