Sampson's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sampson's Story...
Sampson is a 3yr old purebred black lab male. He is a big boy at about 90lbs. He is super sweet, laid back and loving. He is special needs though because he is blind. Please don't let this deter you from adopting him. He does great once he's acclimated. Blind dogs tend to rely on other dogs in the household to be their seeing eye dog, so another buddy would be great for him. He is good with other dogs, kids, and cats. Contact if you are interested. His adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, shots, rabies, deworm and heartworm test.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sampson, a Largo Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Largo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
