Kate is a very sweet young lab mix girl. She is about 1 to 2 years old and weighs 55 lbs with long lanky legs and a beautiful shiny black coat. Kate came to us from a rural shelter very pregnant. She had 9 of the most beautiful black puppies ever who have since all found their forever homes. Now it is Kate's turn. She was a great loving mom to her babies and that is just her personality. She is a very sweet and loving girl. Kate is a bit timid at first, but warms up very quickly when meeting a new person. She loves everyone and likes getting human attention. Kate is great with other dogs and does like to romp and play in the yard and is really loving all this new snow. She loves to go for walks and does well on a leash and would make a wonderful walking companion for someone who loves long walks. Kate has good house manners and appears to be pretty well house trained. She is very attentive and likes to cuddle and get hugs and just be with her people. She is a smart girl too and would excel in any obedience classes. We are not sure about the kitties, but can cat test if necessary. Kate is hoping to find her forever home soon where she can love and be loved. She would make a great addition to just about any family and make that family proud. Kate has been spayed, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. She is also crate trained.
