I see that you know a good thing when you see it! I'm Dapper and I'm really an outstanding figure of a dog. Only 44 lbs, I pack a lot into my small frame. I live to please my people and to retrieve balls. I'm great with other dogs of all sizes, especially as I'm neither dominant nor submissive. I just like to get along with everyone. I'm good with cats, too. I have energy to spare when the occasion requires it, such as when a ball is being tossed, but I'm never hyper. I have excellent leash manners and even do well off leash once I learn the routine. I do love my walks, but have I mentioned my fondness for tennis balls? I take inexpensive medication that keeps seizures under control but it does not slow me down at all. I"m three years old and just waiting for that next ball to be tossed so that I can wow you with my expertise in retrieving it!

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed.
