My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marty is a stunningly handsome 1-year-old, 50 pound American Pitbull Terrier. He is muscular with an athletic build and loves to run and play. Marty is is being fostered in a home with dogs of all sizes and is well-socialized with people and other dogs, but he is unsure about cats; a home without kitties is recommended.

Marty is very affectionate, loves to get and give affection! He walks great with a leash and loves his outings and stays close even off leash.

Pit Bulls are by nature very good with people and children. They do well in urban living provided they have enough exercise and other positive outlets for their energy. Pit Bulls suffer from prejudice and misunderstanding, they make wonderful, loving and very loyal animals that deserve the chance to have a good life. The ideal home for Marty will be with an active family or couple experienced with this strong powerful breed, someone who will ensure he gets daily exercise and walks. His adopter will be a person or persons that will continue to keep him well socialized. He is patiently waiting for the perfect home that is knowledgeable and experienced with the great qualities of this breed.
