Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi People,
My name is Allie, and I am a beautiful, happy and feisty Bichon girl of five. Mom says I’m a calm yet confident little lady who knows lots of commands, is tiny (only 10 pounds) but also brave. I’m also housebroken and crate trained… Oops! I’m getting ahead of myself.
AllieMom says to tell you that I LOVE to play tug of war, chew on antlers (not the real ones!) and run after a ball or anything you throw. I thought I had taught Mom to chase me so she could throw the ball again. Mom, on the other hand, is pretty smart, so she is teaching me that bringing it back is “the plan” - so I’m practicing how to do that too.
When I first meet people I can be shy and on guard. Once I get to know them, though, I warm up quickly and am very loving.
And did we tell you that I’m housebroken, don’t run away, am playful and content? Well, that’s all true! I’m a really smart little girl who responds to being told what to do, comes when called (Mom would like my doggy foster brothers to be as good) and knows commands, like ‘sit’ , ‘wait’, ‘look at me’ and ‘stay.’ Because I’m smart and want to please I’m willing to work hard to get things right.
Even though I’m pretty well behaved I like to ‘borrow’ my doggy foster brothers favorite toys. I play this game called ‘sneak away’ and then toss the toys in the air. (They are still amazed that I’m quick enough to get their toys in the first place!)
I also like to go for walks and for rides in the car. (Mom says I still try to drive but I’m not old enough for a license.) And when it’s time to go to bed, I snuggle and cuddle with Mom, then go into my crate and sleep sweetly and quietly all night long.
So if you are looking for a cute, feisty, playful and willful little lady and if you know (!) how to be in charge, I will love you to pieces and make you proud!
Bichon wags and waves,
Attentive and Adorable Allie
