My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimi
11 Year Old Female Orange Tabby Devon Rex

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for its health and medical records. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Beautiful Mimi is an orange tabby Devon Rex with super soft curly fur. She has the typical body shape of a Devon Rex and is a small girl with large eyes and large ears. Her owner bought her from a Rex breeder in Northern California. Little Mimi is a quiet cat that will hide if there is too much noise or too much action so she needs a quiet home with gentle owners. She loves nothing more that sitting on laps and purring in delight when she is being petted, which she loves. Mimi would prefer if she could sleep in bed with her owner every night. Her owner says that she is one of the sweetest cats she has known. Mimi has lived with another cat her whole life and has been around many foster cats and kittens. She has been around dogs and can hold her own with them unless they are too aggressive. But her owner thinks she would like to be the only pet in the house. Her owner would consider adopting her to a home with other pets if it is the right home.

Mimi has been healthy except that her skin is susceptible to yeast, as is common in Rex cats. Therefore Mimi needs an owner who is willing to commit to giving Mimi a weekly bath with an anti-fungal shampoo. She also needs her ears and nail beds cleaned regularly. Mimi has anti-fungal medication put into her food four times a week and is on a prescription diet. She has had her teeth cleaned within the last year and is up to date on her immunizations.

If you would like more information about Mimi, contact Karen at 707-301-6425 or by email at Aby_Lover87@yahoo.com. Please note that Mimi is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but is residing with her owner in the Santa Cruz area while we place her in her new home.
