Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I mean, really! Is this the most handsome young man you've ever seen? WOW. This guy is a gem. Even our vet staff can't stop talking about him. He is about a year old and has a fantastic personality! Great with adults, children and other dogs. He rarely barks and does not jump up on you, either. Bogie knows "sit" and "down" and we are working on leash training. Bogie weighs about 62 pounds but will likely get bigger. He is really a big huge baby huey!! He is LAID BACK, well mannered, obedient, and just a fantastic dog.
Bogie was introduced to my female Ridgeback, Eleanor Rigby, yesterday. She totally swooned! He plays so beautifully with other dogs! Appropriate, not bossy, sweet. He will roll over on his back for Eleanor to play with him.
I would really hope that Bogie will find a home with someone who wants to take him further in his obedience. I would love for Bogie to get his CGC (Canine Good Citizenship) certificate and be an ambassador for his breed.
We do not know where Bogie came from. He was found on a ranch in the country, so we believe he was dumped. I cannot imagine anyone letting this dog go.
