My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tattoo is a 6 years old Dachsund/Heeler mix with about 20lbs.
She is 100% housebroken, leash and kennel trained, super mellow, sometimes playful but for only a few minutes, she is quiet and not a barker or troublemaker.

For me, she is the perfect dog but sadly she has a bad reputation as a "kid-biter"....
She fought against another dog in her own home about food and accidental nipped her families toddler who stood between her and the new dog.
Tattoo ceased immediately and I think her bad reputation is totally baseless.
But of course the owner kept the new puppy and dumped Tattoo at Animal Control.

We took her into our foster program after the "bite-quarantine" ended in Nov. 2013 and she met a lot of kids since then and she never showed any aggression, but still I would like to find a home without other dogs and no young kids,

Tattoo would love to have a family with older kids as playmates to play and run around.

Her adoption fee is $80 to cover her spay, shots, microchip and frontline treatment.
