GRETA's Story...
This is GRETA. Have you ever heard of the Florida Everglades and the dogs that are dumped there? Google Dogs in the Everglades and see the horrible conditions. This is where this beautiful girl came from. She is currently about 60 pounds, is about 3 years old, in good coat and just beautiful. She is very smart and needs an owner that will continue with her training and make sure she is kept active and does not become bored. She is walking well on the leash and sits very well. You just have to see her and how awesome she is. Her adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in meeting her, go to Earsrescue.org and complete the adoption application to begin the process. Please note that completion of the application is a must but this is not a final commitment, just a starting process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GRETA, a Odessa German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Odessa, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
