Jasper's Story...
When we first got Jasper, he was a sad, scared boy. Jasper had been living life on a chain outside, with no attention, little food, and no love. But with a few months in a loving home, Jasper is a happy well behaved boy who is ready for his new lease on life. He is awesome. His foster family says he is sweet as pie, gets along with other dogs and loves children. Jasper has become the perfect family boy. Jasper is super smart, and with the help of a 10 year old girl, has learned to sit, stay and come. When the resident dog tries to bully him, he just walks away. The only thing he doesn't seem to like is cats. He enjoys hugs and loves to be with his people, he never knew life should be so good! Jasper was fully vetted including vaccines and neuter. He is house broken too. Jasper seems to be about three years old and weighs 56 lbs. If you want to love Jasper for your live long days, Please copy and paste this link to your browser to fill out our application; http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Full vetting and his ride up north included in his $375. adoption fee.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Westport, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
