My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Everyone, Jackson
We are Jackson and Sophia, two beautiful and bonded adult bichons. Our foster Mom said to tell you that I, Jackson, am an adorable (and adoring) lap dog and that Sophia is a sweet and affectionate femme fatale who can jump into a lap even faster than I.
I am happy hanging out on the sofa or recliner and watching what goes on in the world. I like to play chase with Sophia and other dogs and I am very gentle with children. I’m really good at a lot of things but probably the thing that I do best is… snuggle.
Now for my sister Sophia. Mom says she is a very sweet, adorable and social little girl who likes to say ‘Hi” to everyone she meets. She calls Sophia ‘Sparky’ as she is full of energy, wags her tail a lot, smiles and does the Bichon Buzz up and down the yard. Dad says Sophia has the cutest way of letting him know what she wants (and it is usually to be in his or Mom’s lap!) (Gosh, Mom. I could do that too.) Sophia has never met a person, or a lap, she didn’t like – and that goes for me, too!
Jackson & Sophia We know some commands, like to ride in the car and are learning to walk on a leash. (You should see Mom walk all of us – she really does an amazing job!) We are crate trained, remembering our housebreaking routine and are pretty low maintenance (as long as we have our human companions to love and be with!)
If you are wondering what path we took to became FurKids well, it all started when our original Mom died and Dad was taking care of us. Then Dad had something called a ‘major setback.’ We didn’t exactly know what that meant but he had to move into this new place called “Assisted Living.” Dad couldn’t take us there so we had to leave our home and all our doggy brothers and sisters.
SophiaThe last few weeks have been pretty rough but Sophia and I are being brave and doing our very best. Our foster Mom and Dad have been very kind and are giving us lots of love and attention. Our doggy foster brothers and sisters are being good sports but they want our Bichon Aunties to find our very own forever family once again.
Mom says is that our forever home will be very special -- because it will have two of the sweetest furkids in the world living there. She says anyone who meets us will be a happier person for the experience. Dad says that we would do well in a home where someone wants two lovebugs to sit in their laps.
So if you are interested in meeting the two of us, please complete our adoption application -- and we’ll be in touch really soon.
Your new friends in waiting,
Jazzy Jackson and Spectacular Sophia
