My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Everyone,
We are Jackson and Sophia, two beautiful and bonded adult bichons. Our foster Mom said to tell you that I, Jackson, am an adorable (and adoring) lap dog and that Sophia is a sweet and affectionate femme fatale who can jump into a lap even faster than I.
I am happy hanging out on the sofa or recliner and watching what is happening in the world. I like to play chase with Sophia and other dogs and I am very gentle with children. I’m really good at a lot of things but probably the thing that I do best is… snuggle.
Now for Sophia. Mom says she is a very sweet, adorable and social little girl who likes to say ‘Hi” to everyone she meets. She calls Sophia ‘Sparky’ as she is full of energy, wags her tail a lot, and smiles. Sophia LOVES her toys, especially her pink Loofa doggy. She tosses it in the air, shakes it and barks at it – and even carries it outside with her when she goes potty! Oh, and she likes to sun bathe when she’s outside, too.
Dad says Sophia also has the cutest way of letting him know what she wants (and it is usually to be in his or Mom’s lap!) and has never met a person, or a lap, she didn’t like. That goes double for me!
We know commands (like ‘come’, ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and ‘nap time’), like to ride in the car and like to go on walks! (You should see Mom walk all of us – she really does an amazing job!) We are crate trained (and like our crates) and are pretty easy-going (as long as we have our human companions to love and be with!)
If you are wondering how we became FurKids, well, it all started when our ‘original’ Mom died and Dad was taking care of us. Then Dad had something called a ‘major setback.’ He had to move into this place called “Assisted Living.” Dad couldn’t take us there so we had to leave our home and all our doggy brothers and sisters.
Now we have a great foster Mom and Dad who are very kind and give us lots of love and attention. We get along well with our doggy foster brother and sisters and we are all pretty good at sharing.
Mom says is that our forever home will be very special -- because it will have two of the sweetest furkids in the world living there. She says anyone who meets us will be a happier person for the experience. Dad says that we would do well in a home where someone wants two lovebugs to sit in their laps.
So if you are interested in meeting the two of us, please complete our adoption application -- and we’ll be in touch really soon.
Your new friends in waiting,
Jazzy Jackson and Spectacular Sophia
