Nicco's Story...
N/M, 2 Years, Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound Mix, Approx. 10 lbs.

Hi there! I'm just as fun as I look! I'm a friendly little fella who was given up by my former family because they didn't have time to exercise or train me properly. I really have no bad habits; I just need a family that is active, attentive, and willing to give me the guidance and consistency I deserve. Oh! I also need a whole lot of lovin'. In other words, I'm a typical young dog! I am house-broken, and love my little chew toys. I enjoy a rousing game of ball, and am more than ready for any adventure you care to emBARK upon. (Heh, heh!) I love well mannered children, and friendly dogs around my size are just fabulous. Cats? So FUN to chase, so maybe not. Come on down to the shelter and say hi!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicco, a Denver Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
