This adorable little lady is Kahlua. Kahlua is a 7 month old mixed breed pup that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a wonderful home of her own. Kahlua had a home, but when her family moved out of their apartment right before Christmas, they decided to leave Kahlua behind, all by herself. Maybe they thought Santa would take care of her! Luckily she is here with us now and doesn't hold her past experiences with people against anyone. Kahlua is a timid little lady when she first meets you. She crawls to you with her tail wagging low, but after one sniff, she places her paws gently on your legs and buries her head in your knees. She wants so badly to be loved and can't get enough affection. She is such a sweet and lovable little girl. Kahlua loves to go for walks and check out the world and has so much fun in our exercise yard. She really lets loose and will grab a toy and have a whole conversation with you about it! Kahlua is quite funny when she starts talking.....she lets out some ridiculous whining noises that are really as if she's trying to tell you something. She is so playful and fun-loving, and just the happiest pup. Kahlua will need some basic training of course, since she's very young, but she's smart and a fast learner. She is interested in other dogs but doesn't seem to know what to make of them, but would prefer a home with no cats. Kahlua is so deserving of a fresh start in her young life with a family that will never leave her behind again. File#232184 12/23/13
