My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chapman, like the highway he's named after, is a stunningly beautiful pup with unique shepherd markings. Chapman is one of the larger pup, with facial features like Autobahn's. Originally shy, he is blossoming in foster care. A happy, silly boy who is always happy to see you, Chapman will make an awesome pup for some happy family!!

The Highway pups are a litter of shepherd mixes who were saved by a wonderful Alabama rescuer who found all nine scurrying along a busy highway where they and their Momma, Freeway, had been dumped to die. As quickly as poor Freeway could pull one baby off of the busy road, another would run out. Traffic didn't even bother to slow down for them or swerve to miss them. A kindly rescuer gathered them all, but not before one was struck and killed - right in front of poor Freeway!!

If you are interested in adoption one of the Highway pups, please go to www.impawsablerescue.org and complete an online application. All of the Highway pups will be up-to-date on shots, microchipped, wormed and spayed and neutered before adoption.
