My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVA is 2-3 years old and the sweetest girl that this foster Mama has ever had the pleasure of hosting. Ava has never had an accident in the house and has perfect manners. SHe doesn't bark, she doesn't chew and she doesn't jump up. It is SO hard to believe that this amazing girl has had such a sad and hard life so far. Ava and her canine friend, were abandoned by their owner and left to fend for themselves. She survived on the streets for over a year, probably two, and has the scars to prove it. She had multiple scars that look like bite marks on her face and many long and weird shaped scars on her torso. Many of these have healed but some remain. These scars however, have not effected her strong and happy spirit one bit. A few months ago, Ava was picked up by animal control and set to be euthanized. Luckily, her guardian angel put out a plea to save her and prayers were answered. Ava is such a resilient little girl and has so much love to give. She went from being scared and shut down in the shelter, to being happy and loving in such a short time. She is truly amazing!!!! Now, Ava is learning to play with toys and other peers, while she patiently waits for the perfect home to find her.
