Tonto's Story...
Tonto is a handsome Hound/Weimaraner mix. He is about 1.5 years old. He is good with non dominant dogs and best with adults only or older children due to his size. Tonto is energetic, curious and smart. He has a sweet disposition and is affectionate. He weighs about 65 pounds.

Tonto would love a home with someone who likes to hike, walk and hang out in the yard and explore. He walks well on a leash. He knows these commands: stay, sit, come, heel and leave it! He needs a fenced in yard with lots of room to play and explore.... after all, he is a hound! He needs an active family or person who will walk him regularly and give him attention.

Tonto is potty trained, chipped, neutered and up to date with vaccinations. He likes to play and snuggle. He will make you smile with his zest for life and fun personality! Tonto is ready for his forever home; he has so much love to give!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tonto, a Scottsdale Hound (Unknown Type)/Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Weimaraner for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Weimaraner breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
