Mayer's Story...
Meet Mayer! Mayer is a 2 year old neutered male Shep Mix that was rescued from a high kill shelter.

Happy-go-lucky first responder! Mayer will answer the call to be your best pal. He is playful and easy-going and he knows just when to move in for a quick face washing session or flop over for a belly rub. He loves to run but he is easy to manage on the leash, waiting patiently when his person stops for a rest. He sniffed the cats in the habitat and wagged his tail but he might be inclined to chase cats that run away. He stayed cool when the dogs in the kennels barked at him.

If interested in Mayer, please go to http://www.tlcrescuepa.com/adoption/ to fill out an application.

Mayer will be ready to meet you January 12t

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mayer, a Kimberton Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
