Tink's Story...
Tink is a little black female with a sweet disposition, quiet, loves to be brushed but will pass on the pedicures. She chooses her loved ones and remains loyal for life. The right fit for anyone looking for perfection accompanied by purrs. In fact, her former foster mom is very emphatic about having heard Tink say, “Mom always told me not to talk to strangers. I listened to her advice so will need to get to know you before we can cozy up together, which won’t take long, because I do make friends fast after a couple of get acquainted hisses. It’s all love.” After being around her at A.D.O.P.T. for a few days, we have all found this to be true. She was born around December of 2011.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tink, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
