This handsome boy is a 3-year-old Lab/Great Dane mix, weighing about 58 lbs. He lives at the EHR kennel & he has a very special "kennel buddy" who spends time with him. Here is what she has to say about this pup:
I have never seen Trigger react negatively to anyone. Volunteers have given him treats and he is always gentle. Most of the time on walks he seems indifferent to both dogs and people. I try to get him to sit and focus on me when there is a passerby. He is highly food motivated and I feel would be easy to train.
Trigger rides well in the car. I walk him with the freedom harness and he walks pretty nicely. He loves plastic water bottles and when he finds one his joy is contagious. He is alert to squirrels and other critters along our walks. When the weather is warmer, he splashes in the lake. We also sit by the lake and enjoys getting petted.
I think Trigger would benefit from an adopter who would be willing to spend some time training him...with some time and patience he would be a loyal and faithful companion.
If you'd like to meet Trigger, please complete an adoption application & be sure to mention his name!
