Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Since the info below was entered Charm has been adopted and is being returned.
Director Lisa spied these blond beauties at Memphis Animal Services, along with two other siblings. All four had been owner surrendered. Baxter has beautiful sabling on his tail while sister Charm has one lovely blue eye and an exquisitely delicately shaped collie face. She has a white tip on her tail.
These dogs will be large when adults, probably weighing around 50 to 60 lbs. They are working on their house-training and will need adoptive families who have the flexible schedules needed to accommodate house-training for these smart, sweet dogs. They appear to be crate trained and that is an excellent management resource when house training a pet. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccinations.
Baxter and Charm are playful but very responsive to their foster mom, seeming to have the Golden Retriever trait of being eager to please their human. They immediately blended in with the other dogs in their foster home. Older children (10+) will do best with these growing pups, because they can be clumsy and would unintentionally bump into toddlers, resulting in possible falls. Plus, Charm and Baxter would LOVE having young humans to bond and play with.
The ideal home for Charm or Baxter will have a secure fenced yard, a solid history of excellent veterinary care for current or previous pets, and experience house training a growing puppy. If you love smart, sweet, big breeds, please open your hearts and homes to Charm or Baxter.
