My story

Check me out! I'm brand new to Songdog as of December 2013 and looking for my forever home!

Blake is an approximately 1 year old male German Shepherd Dog mix. As per his current foster:

"He is VERY sweet! And very smart...I only have to tell him what I want a couple of times. He is a little shy at first...his owners were not very nice to him before Animal Control took him away...."

We're still getting to know Blake, but he warms up to people quickly and likes to make you happy. He will take a loving family that can SHOW him how to do things right and positively reinforce what is right instead of only punishing for what is 'wrong'. He has not been tested with cats, but has done well with other dogs and people. Due to his size and exuberance, he may be best placed in a home with older children.
