My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Socks is in an East Tennessee shelter and came in as a stray. She will be vetted (spayed, brought UTD on shots, HW tested, wormed, and on preventative and a health certificate issued which is required by the transport we use. We use Alpha Dog Transport which charges $125 for their services. They have several stops in CT, VT and ME. To adopt, please complete our application on our main website..

Socks is 25lbs of perky and cuddly. We believe she is a Chihuahua mixed with something larger- perhaps a beagle- as she looks like a Chihuahua on steroids. She got her name from her 4 white socks plus as an extra white snip on her nose. She is good with dogs and is intimidated by cats. She is almost full size at 6-7 months so what you see is what you get. Seems to be very social with people and should fit right in any home.
