Brownie's Story...
Brownie is absolutely one of our favorites! He is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, estimated to be between 1-2 years old, and weighs 57lbs. Brownie is heartworm positive and being treated by the slow kill method. The handsome fellow is just a mush ball of LOVE. If you sit down with him, he just nestles in your lap, and soaks up all the love that you give him. He is timid, and hasn't shown any reaction to the other dogs, but we have not formally introduced him to another dog yet. He is wonderful with kids, we have no idea about cats and no way to test him. Updates will come when we test him with other dogs. If interested in meeting this handsome fellow we are taking applications. When contacting us, please include the following information: Do you have other animals?, Kids (how many and ages), fenced in yard. A home check is required with this adoption. Thank You

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Tampa Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
