My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iris is that rare gem of a dog that's so hard to find. A professionally trained and well-mannered 6 year old beauty, Iris is the PERFECT house dog: low energy, perfect house manners, zero separation anxiety, doesn't jump, bark, chew, or steal food, good with other dogs, cats, and just loves kids! She is incredibly easy to please and not demanding of your time. Two short 10-20 minute walks a day is all she needs for exercise but she will happily accompany you for light hikes and if let her play in the hose water she'll turn instantly into a sprightly young puppy! She is healthy, house trained, and walks great on leash, not to mention she's already trained to sit, down, stay, come, heel, touch, wait, leave it, and drop. She has also been taught not to rush out of doorways or gates and has excellent manners in general. This loyal and devoted girl will follow you from room to room to make sure you're always ok. She wants nothing more than to be near her person and even though she is a friendly dog, she will make you feel very safe. Iris is a real treasure and we can't wait to find her a forever home to call her own.
She is healthy, house trained, spayed and microchipped.
