Woof! Woof! My name is Colby and I am looking for a great home. I don't have a permanent home right now and I would love to know what it is like to have a special home all my own. I am a male dog, approx 6 - 8 months old. I was a little too small to remember my exact birthdate and since I am not sure where my mom is, I have to just guess at my age. But I know I am not very old at all. I thought I had a home at this lady's house, but she called a man to come pick me up and I was taken to a wonderful rescue. The ladies there love me and pet me. They gave me great food and they are taking wonderful care of me. I am getting my vaccines so that I will continue to be healthy. I have tested negative for heart worms and they have me taking a monthly preventative for heart worms, fleas/ticks, and parasites. I weigh less than 30 lbs. and shouldn't get too much bigger. I am going to be neutered soon and when everything is completed, I will be transported to my new home. The ladies said that I could be in my forever home as early as the first week in February. I am counting the days. I love all people no matter who they are. Big people, little people. I like other furry friends too. Other dogs are great to play with and even the cats are pretty good too. I hope if you have a cat, they will give me a chance. We are not exactly sure about what "kind" of dog I am, but my coat is short and in a pretty tan and white color. I have short pointed ears that will stand up, but sometimes the tips fall over. I have pretty white teeth and will do anything for a tummy rub. I think I am a pretty special guy and I hope you will too. Thanks for thinking about giving me a good home.
