Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, you fine folks! Bert here. I know what you’re thinking: “That ain’t no Jack!” I was dumped at the kill shelter a few days before Christmas with my brother Ernie, who is all Jack Russell. The rescue folks didn’t know that I came in with him when they came to pick him up … and they couldn’t imagine separating us. So, here I am, a beautiful black Chow mix in the midst of these silly, white dogs.
And Mama Donna and the volunteers couldn’t love me more. (In fact, I think they do love me more. Shh, don’t tell!)
The vet thinkis I am around 7-8 years old (it’s hard to tell with these teeth) and will need a dental. We have set up an online fundraiser to help cover these unexpected costs. Every penny goes to us.
I am heartworm negative, get along great with other dogs and adults/kids, and am ready to roll. Ideally, I would love to spend the rest of my life with my brother, but we are OK without one another.
