Lola's Story...
Lola is a very friendly, black 8 month old kitten. She was found at a feral colony when she was just a baby. She has been in foster care and has become quite an affectionate little girl. She is energetic and loves to play. Lola is good with other cats and we think she would be fine with dogs if properly introduced. She is looking for a loving family that will give her plenty of love and attention. To meet her please contact us for an application and to set up a meeting with her at her foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Fredericksburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
