Lucy is pure Husky -- blue eyes and very gentle. She wants to be with her humans all the time -- at your feet or at least in the same room. Lucy has shown no interest in dogs, cats, or any other critter other than people. She is good with kids. Lucy shows no hesitation for trying new situations. She entered her foster home like she owned it -- checked every room before she found a spot to settle in. Lucy definitely knows her name; she comes to her name. Even if you are not talking to her, if you say her name in conversation, she looks at you. Lucy is believed to be 11 years old, but when taken for a leash walk, she definitely showed her sled dog heritage -- she acts like a 7 year old. She pulls quite a bit. Off leash she meanders around the yard and is content to stay close to investigate. She will stay with you without a leash. Lucy also enjoys car rides. She makes a great watch dog as long as the person knocks on the door; she sounds like a killer! She is a bit overweight; her foster family is working on that. Lucy likes to be brushed, but she has no real interest in belly rubs. She also has no interest in getting on furniture. Lucy is spayed, house-trained, and micro-chipped. Lucy is a good girl who is ready for a home of her own.
