Found sitting in the kennels at a rural Ohio dog pound --- Lilah's time was up -- no one came searching for her. Lilah is 1- 2 yrs old and 42 lb. Gorgeous Long black and white coat. Appears to be all English Setter....VERY playful active girl. I would suggest if applicant has another dog, best if that dog is very playful too. Lilah starts out some what shy and leery of new people. Once she feels comfortable that you won't hurt her, she responds well. Does need work on manners and leash walking. With positive reinforcement and good treats, she should learn quickly. Highly recommend fenced large yard and active family to help burn off her energy. Sleeps all night in dog crate...Seems housebroke - has not had a potty accident since being placed into foster care. Good with other dogs. Older children best since she has ALOT of energy = not unusual for the breed... Cats unknown however I'd bet she would chase....Adoption fee includes spay, vaccine update, heartworm check and G.I. deworming.
