Guinness's Story...
Guinness is a 6 month old Chihuahua pug mix, weighing in at just under 10lbs. She's a snuggly little love bug and enjoys lap sitting, giving kisses, and playing with her foster sister, a min pin mix, and her brother Keeler the cat. She is a little shy with new large breeds but warms up quickly, and she loves cats. She came to us in a cardboard box with two siblings and she is the only one that was saved from the pound. We are still working on potty training but she is a sweet, loving, attentive little girl who will give you all her attention and love.

Guinness is currently being fostered. She is just waiting for her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guinness, a Sacramento Chihuahua/Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
