Butterscotch's Story...
Please meet Butterscotch, a friendly and fiesty little boy! Only six months old and ready for his forever home. Scotch gets along with everyone he meets; other cats, people, even dogs! Pictures can't do him justice and Scotch's true handsomeness must be seen in person. He has silky, plush fur and bright amber eyes. He is a typical kitten; snuggling in your lap one minute and then jumping on your toes for play the next!

Butterscotch has been neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, has been dewormed, received a flea treatment and is up to date on his vaccines. He is being fostered, along with his mother Sarah, in NW Charlotte.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butterscotch, a Charlotte Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
