My name is Jones, and no one is quite sure of my breed....I look like the picture in the book of a Canaan dog, but my snout is not as pointed. I could be Border Collie but my hair is short....I also look like Greater Swiss Mountain Dog so that is how I am listed but feel free to come and see me and help figure it all out!
Allan says I am a big boy that will make a great family dog....even though I am shy at first and want to play keep away when you visit. I can put my feet up on a 4' fence, but I am happy to stay inside the fence.
I'll be waiting for you:) Love, Jones.

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
