Facts about Mr. Brown

  • Breed: Great Dane/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) Mix
  • Color: Merle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
I came into the shelter emaciated, but as you can see I have put my weight back on. I also had a very large mass under my eye that I got an operation to drain, it was mostly calcified by that point so there will always be a hard mass under my eye, but so far does not bother me. I am shy and Chili is my best friend, so if you can take us both I would love it, but if you can't I understand. I am a very pretty boy and like to pose for my pictures. I will warm up once I finally have a family that loves me and takes car of me.

About Texas Best Choices Animal Rescue

About Our Shelter...

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..

Donate to Our Shelter...

Find the Pay Pal Donate Button on our Petfinder page or Facebook page.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.
