My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flo is a Maine Coon/Tabby mix with soft and silky long hair. She’s about 9 years old and very bonded with her sister Polly.

This beautiful kitty is quiet, gentle and affectionate. She takes a little time to warm up but once she knows you she will sit next to you on the sofa and purr. Flo also enjoys being brushed. She’s curious like most cats but lets Polly take the first step towards new adventures. But the truth is that most of Flo and Polly’s adventures include finding a comfortable spot for a nap and looking out windows. They both find this a very satisfying way to enjoy time together.

Flo and Polly would never want to be separated so these sweet natured sisters wish to find a home where they can grow old together. They will be affectionate companions and will grace any home with their beauty and love.

Because we want these sisters to stay together, the adoption fee for both Flo and Polly is our single adoption fee of $110.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails. All Fees will be returned.

Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
