My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at that sweet face! And you know what? That sweet face belongs to a very sweet and loving puppy.

Diego and his sister, Dora, were rescued when someone was giving away free puppies in the parking lot at a Wal Mart store. Thank goodness they were saved from the fate that many free puppies experience.

Diego loves life in his foster home where he is warm, safe, loved and enjoys playing with the other cats and dogs he shares his home with.

We believe that Diego is a Shih Tzu beagle cross....a Bea-Tzu. His real breed, however, is what we call the BEST breed....the breed that will love you and be a wonderful family companion.

He was 8 weeks old on 1-15-14 and weighs almost 12 pounds, so he will be a medium-sized adult dog (25 - 50 pounds). He has the sweetest personality. His coat is long and wiry...with lots of white flash to add to his cuteness.
