Shina came to BRLA with a hideous case of mange. She went home with BRLA founder who put her healing on the fast track and she now is sporting beautiful new fuzzy fur. Shina likely ended up with mange from neglectful treatment with lack of highly nutritional food. We are able to bring her back by not only treating her outside with medication but her inside with great nutrition. We build them up from the inside out and that speeds recovery. Along with not paying attention to her nutrition she was also not getting any social training. She is as sweet as can be but she needs leash training and basic charm school. She will get it and the BRLA volunteer team is already making great strides with her training. She has a heart of gold, golden new fur and with the help of an experienced own will become as good as gold in your home.
